Surge 1.81

I had to compile surge for the boot disk but was unable to get anything past v1.81 to work.  This is pre-XT but is quite close and contains most of whats included in XT.  I find it easy to get good results from.  Surge is the other software that makes this platform worth the time to me.  It seems to collect features from other popular freeware software like filters (that ive noticed so far).  the wave shaping is quite powerful.  there is a lot of power in just this synth alone.

Im a huge fan of the other vember audio product turned open source too... short circuit the sampler!  I hear they are working on that one and hopefully it makes it around to raspberry pi because i found it to be so very useful on windows a while back.  making layered patches on that thing was so easy.  and the included filters did a lot.  you could really get your mileage from the samples you used.  if its anything like it was when it finally drops, i think its game over.  no need to look any further.
